The Mummies - Your Love. The Mummies’ great lo-fi sound (garage, budget rock, trash garage, whatever you want to call it), legendary shows, performing in nothing but ace bandages, and an impossible to find, all-vinyl back catalogue is a recipe for mythic status (they also figure prominently in one of my favorite record store tales). ps, they’ve temporarily reunited and are playing at southpaw tonight (sold out of course).
