Hole covers Guns N Roses Paradise City. File under ill-advised, half-assed covers. I’m not a Courtney Love hater and even like some Hole songs, but this sounds like bad karaoke - they manage to suck all the energy out of the song. She doesn’t seem to know most of the lyrics either, though her improvised line “but with my royalty rates it doesn’t seem that way” might have been funny if the rest were intelligible, who knows. Cringe-inducing.
