I can suggest a good recipe … to take little time, be very indigestible, and imply frustration, outrage, and great boredom by its general air of hardness and tough, careless preparation:
4 eggs cooking oil or fat
4 tablespoons water salt, pepper
Beat eggs angrily until they froth. Add the water. Season without thought. Heat oil quickly to the smoking point in thin skillet, pour in egg mixture and stir fast. Scrape onto cold plates and slam down on carelessly laid table.
